Fox News host Laura Ingraham publicly challenged Mehmet Oz after he claimed a stick of butter costs a dollar, asking him where he shops because "it's not a buck." The exchange quickly drew attention, with commenters seizing on it as a symbol of how out of touch political figures can seem about everyday grocery prices amid ongoing inflation concerns.
Why now: The on-air dispute over the price of butter resonates with widespread public frustration about food costs and inflation.
