GTA 1's Vehicle Physics Now Playable In A Browser
Original: GTA 1's Vehicle Physics Are Now Playable In Your Browser
The original Grand Theft Auto's 1997 vehicle physics have been recreated so they can be played directly in a web browser, with no download required. The project, highlighted by 80 Level, revives interest in the top-down classic's distinctive driving handling, and fans of the series are sharing the demo as a nostalgic way to revisit how the franchise's driving felt before its 3D era.
Why now: Nostalgia for early GTA games combined with a new browser-based recreation makes it easy for people to try and share it.
