Ukrainian forces are reported to have liberated around 10 square kilometres of forested territory near Vovchansk in Kharkiv region, claiming to have destroyed three enemy groups in a local counterattack. The claim comes from pro-Ukraine war reporting channels; no independent confirmation or further detail is available, and the scale of the operation and Russian response remain unclear.

Why now: Vovchansk has been a focal point of fighting in Kharkiv region, so any claimed Ukrainian gains there draw immediate attention.
