A quotation from Shakespeare's Hamlet, in which the Ghost of Hamlet's father describes being doomed to walk the night, has been paired with William Blake's illustration of the scene. The post, shared under the Wyrd Wednesday tag, draws together folklore, gothic literature and theatre themes, and has drawn modest engagement from readers interested in Shakespeare and classic art.
Why now: The weekly Wyrd Wednesday folklore-themed sharing tradition prompted people to post gothic literary quotes and artwork.
