The German early music ensemble Lautten Compagney is being praised for its album 'Dancing Queen: Rameau Meets ABBA', which reworks ABBA's pop hits in the style of Baroque composer Jean-Philippe Rameau. A shared recommendation is drawing fresh attention to the quirky classical-pop crossover record on Apple Music.
Why now: Listeners are amused and delighted by the unlikely fusion of ABBA songs with French Baroque music.
