The education organisation Journeys in Film marked Indigenous Peoples' Day by promoting free, classroom-ready resources on indigenous peoples around the world. The offer includes lesson plans and discussion guides designed to accompany films, with materials intended to support teaching about indigenous cultures and histories throughout the school year rather than only on the holiday itself.
Why now: Indigenous Peoples' Day prompts educators and organisations to share teaching materials and celebrate indigenous cultures.
