Trump blocks Wes Moore from speaking at Maryland defense event

Original: "Trump is preventing Maryland’s Democratic Governor Wes Moore from speaking at an event... Defense firm Andruil Industri

President Trump is preventing Maryland's Democratic Governor Wes Moore from speaking at an event tied to Anduril Industries' announcement of a two-million-square-foot submarine manufacturing facility at Sparrows Point, Maryland. Moore helped broker the deal, and the move is drawing criticism as politically motivated, since the governor played a central role in bringing the defense project to the state.

Why now: Trump's attempt to sideline a Democratic governor from an event for a deal that governor helped secure is being seen as political retaliation.
