The Polish Linux portal Linuxiarze.pl has added Android TV to its distribution database, describing it as Google's operating system for smart TVs, TV boxes, soundbars and other devices. Formerly known as Google TV, the system is aimed at users running Android on living-room hardware. The entry outlines the platform's history and its place among Google's consumer operating systems.

Why now: Polish Linux community members are sharing the new database entry as a reference on running Google's TV platform on smart devices.
