A claim circulating on social media alleges Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison took part in the conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election. The same discussion ties the accusation to broader concerns about media independence, noting the Trump administration's recent move to bar CNN from the White House and the network's change in ownership less than a month before the 2026 midterms. No court filing or official allegation supporting the claim about Ellison is cited.
Why now: Commentators are linking Ellison's reported influence over media holdings to worries about press freedom and election integrity ahead of the 2026 midterms.
