Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello has clarified that he does vote in elections, pushing back on suggestions that he abstains, but says he refuses to support what he calls corporate Democrats. The rocker, long known for his left-wing activism, framed his position as consistent with his political principles rather than disengagement from the process.

Why now: The progressive musician's pointed rejection of mainstream Democratic candidates resonates amid ongoing debates about the party's direction.
