Parlophone and Warner Chappell UK Sign Band Tooth

Original: PARLOPHONE RECORDS AND WARNER CHAPPELL MUSIC UK SIGN UP-AND-COMING BAND TOOTH

British band Tooth has signed to Parlophone Records, with a separate publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music UK. The double signing gives the emerging group major-label backing for both its recordings and songwriting, and marks another new act added to Warner Music's UK roster as the label looks for its next breakout artist.

Why now: A major label signing an up-and-coming band signals the industry is betting on them as a breakout act.
