Juvenile patients arrested at Chandler mental health facility
Police arrested juvenile patients at a mental health facility in Chandler, Arizona, according to local reporting by AZ Family. Details about how many minors were detained, what prompted the arrests, and what charges they may face have not been made clear. The case is drawing attention because it involves young people already receiving psychiatric care rather than being charged in an ordinary setting.
Why now: The unusual arrest of minors inside a mental health treatment facility has raised questions about how such centres handle patient incidents.
