A new study reports that weather-related disruptions to live music events in Canada have risen sharply, from an average of 8 publicly reported incidents per year between 2010 and 2022 to more than 65 per year between 2023 and 2025 — an eightfold increase. The findings are being shared as further evidence of climate change's growing impact on outdoor events and the live entertainment industry.
