The CRANE Lab, a French research and creation group specialising in acousmatic and volumiphonic music, has become a member of the Spatial Audio Network Europe (SANE). The announcement was shared on social media, noting the lab's new listing on SANE's members page. The news has drawn modest attention among electronic and experimental music communities, who follow developments in spatial sound research and collaboration across Europe.
Why now: Communities interested in acousmatic and spatial electronic music are following the lab's integration into a new European network.
