The StorySeedLibrary project has published its 150th illustration, contributed by the artist known as the Lemonaut. The piece depicts an OpenFlexure microscope and highlights open hardware collaboration in engineering and science, described as something largely absent from solarpunk visual language so far. The project collects images as prompts for solarpunk fiction writers, and this addition widens its scope toward scientific and technical themes.

Why now: The milestone 150th illustration introduces open hardware, a theme rarely shown in solarpunk art, drawing attention from the community.
