Google's Gemini Android update draws mockery after Linus Tech Tips clip

Original: Let’s add some fuel to the fire…🤡🫣 I have just watched # LTT clip where they have discussed # Gemini update push for # A

Discussion is swirling around a Linus Tech Tips segment reviewing Google's push of the Gemini update to Android users. Commenters call the rollout horrid, saying the assistant cannot reliably handle basic tasks like setting a labeled alarm. There is also surprise at the claim that Apple's Siri is catching up, with many viewing the Gemini push as aggressive and unearned.

Why now: People are reacting to criticism of Google forcing the Gemini update onto Android devices despite poor performance.
