Campaign calls for open, independent social networks
Original: @ samvie erklärt # Plus1 und andere politische Forderungen für unabhängige, offene soziale Netzwerke 👉 https:// fair.tub
German-speaking internet advocates are promoting Plus1, a set of political demands for independent and open social networks, alongside tools for digitally sovereign social media management. The push is being shared through short explainer videos and is drawing attention among users of decentralised platforms who want alternatives to large commercial networks and more control over their own online infrastructure.
Why now: Ongoing debate about digital sovereignty and dependence on big commercial social media platforms is driving interest in open alternatives.
