Reform UK candidate: Camden streets are lawless

Original: OPINION - Reform UK's Pete Newman: London and Camden are lawless - we must take back our streets https://www.standard.co

Pete Newman, a Reform UK figure campaigning ahead of the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, has written in the Evening Standard that London and the Camden area are 'lawless' and calling for streets to be 'taken back'. The opinion piece frames crime and public order as central issues for voters in the constituency. The strongly worded claim is drawing attention amid the by-election contest.

Why now: It is a combative opinion piece tied to the high-profile Holborn and St Pancras by-election, feeding debate over crime in London.
