Photographer's Rome street shots lament city's car clutter
Original: 'Dinge die die Welt nicht braucht' - überall Autos # FotoVorschlag # überflüssig # Autos # Straßenfotografie # Rom # Ita
A street photographer has shared a series of 35mm film photographs taken in Rome, Italy, presenting parked cars as 'things the world doesn't need'. The images, shot on an Olympus camera and tagged with street photography and film photography hashtags, show vehicles crowding Roman streets. The series has drawn small engagement but taps into ongoing debates about cars dominating urban public space.
Why now: Cars filling historic European cities remain a contentious topic, and the photographer's critical framing invites discussion about urban space.
