David Croft rejects FIA's software excuse over latest blunder
Original: David Croft rejects FIA's software excuse: 'This falls on the FIA'
Sky Sports F1 commentator David Croft has publicly rejected the FIA's explanation that a software issue was to blame for its latest mistake, saying responsibility lies with the governing body itself. Croft argued the FIA cannot hide behind technical faults, insisting 'this falls on the FIA'. The comments add to mounting criticism of the federation's officiating and operational reliability in Formula 1.
Why now: The FIA has faced repeated criticism over errors, and Croft's public rejection of its software explanation is fuelling debate about the governing body's competence.
