Macro photography joke nods to Little Shop of Horrors
Original: Feed me. (Audrey, is that you?) # bloomscrolling # nature # photography # macro # littleshopofhorrors
A photographer shared a macro close-up of a carnivorous-looking plant with the caption "Feed me," a wink at Audrey II, the man-eating plant from Little Shop of Horrors. The image circulated under nature and photography tags, drawing amused comparisons between the real plant and the musical's famous bloodthirsty creation.
Why now: The playful pop-culture reference to Audrey II makes the nature photo shareable and fun.
