Three injured in Pontina road accident, kilometers of traffic jams
Original: Incidente sulla Pontina: tre feriti. Traffico in tilt e code chilometriche https:// ift.tt/LNd4DQA
A road accident on the Pontina, the major roadway connecting Rome to Latina, has left three people injured. The crash caused severe traffic disruption, with kilometer-long queues building up as authorities worked at the scene. Drivers in the Rome and Lazio area are being warned to expect continued delays while the roadway is cleared.
Why now: The Pontina is a heavily used artery for commuters in Lazio, so an injury crash and major jams directly affect many travelers.
