Original: xbox cloud gaming
Microsoft's Xbox has acquired the cloud streaming rights for GTA 6, meaning players will be able to stream the game to PCs and other devices via Xbox Cloud Gaming rather than needing dedicated hardware. The move is being covered widely, with outlets noting it gives Xbox a notable role in one of the most anticipated game launches, despite the title being published by rival Take-Two's Rockstar Games.
Why now: The news that GTA 6 will be streamable via Xbox Cloud Gaming is a surprising and significant deal ahead of one of the biggest game releases ever.
