Replaying a 1993 Session on Mexico's La Cueva BBS
Original: La Cueva BBS in Mexico in 1993 (session replay)
A developer has published a replay of a bulletin board system session from La Cueva, a Mexican BBS that operated in 1993. The page recreates the dial-up experience of logging into early Mexican online communities, before the commercial internet reached the country. Readers are recalling the pre-web era of local BBS culture and comparing it with today's always-online world.
Why now: Nostalgia for early dial-up and BBS culture, preserved in an interactive session replay.
