Pragyan Ojha in frame for India selector role

Original: pragyan ojha

Former India spinner Pragyan Ojha is being discussed as a possible choice to pick the Indian team for the upcoming New Zealand tour. Reports say chief selector Ajit Agarkar's tenure has ended and no new name has been finalised, with an announcement expected this week, prompting debate over who will lead the selection panel.

Why now: Reports that Agarkar's term as chief selector has ended have put Ojha's name into the conversation just before a New Zealand tour.
