Jaguar unveils Type 01 electric sedan in radical brand reset
Original: Jaguar Type 01 vorgestellt: Der radikale Bruch mit der Historie Jaguar wagt einen kompletten Neustart, an dessen Beginn
Jaguar has presented the Type 01, a large, unusually shaped and very expensive electric limousine with three electric motors, marking the start of a complete relaunch of the brand. The move is being described as a radical break with Jaguar's history as the British carmaker reinvents itself as an electric-only luxury marque.
Why now: The unveiling of a drastically redesigned, history-breaking flagship car is a major, debated moment for an iconic brand.
