Tanner Scott's Dodgers role questioned after Friedman comments

Original: tanner scott

Tanner Scott, the Los Angeles Dodgers closer, is at the center of a postseason bullpen debate after president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman gave what Sports Illustrated called a surprising response about who will close games in October. Scott has struggled at times this season, and fans are speculating about whether the Dodgers will stick with him or turn to other relievers in high-leverage playoff situations.

Why now: The Dodgers' playoff run is near and the choice of closer for the postseason is unresolved.
