Jaguar Launches £130,000 Type 01 EV With 400-Mile Range
Jaguar has launched the Type 01, a new electric vehicle priced at £130,000 with a claimed 400-mile range. The announcement puts the British brand squarely in the high-end electric market, competing on range and price with other luxury EV makers. Reaction so far is focused on whether the ambitious range figure and premium price tag can win over buyers as Jaguar repositions itself as an all-electric marque.
Why now: The launch marks a bold, high-priced step in Jaguar's shift to an all-electric lineup, drawing attention from auto fans and industry watchers.
