Benoît Brunet to be immortalized by the Gatineau Olympiques

Original: benoit brunet

Former QMJHL star Benoît Brunet is set to be honoured as an 'immortal' by the Gatineau Olympiques, the franchise formerly known as the Hull Olympiques. The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League club will enshrine the ex-NHL forward in its hall of fame, recognizing his junior career before he went on to a long professional career.

Why now: The team has announced a new induction honouring one of its most notable alumni.
