The Seattle Seahawks have decided not to sign running back Joe Mixon after he underwent a physical with the team, according to reporting by The Athletic. The club had been expected to add the veteran back, but concerns apparently surfaced during the medical evaluation. The move leaves Mixon a free agent as the Seahawks weigh their options in the backfield amid injury questions.
Why now: A signed-or-not saga involving a well-known running back collapsing at the physical stage is notable NFL news, especially with injuries in play.
