A photographer from Germany has shared a portrait shot on discontinued Kodak Ektachrome 160 film using a Mamiya 645 medium format camera, presenting it under the theme of nostalgia. The image, tagged with reading and literature motifs, has drawn modest attention from the film photography community, where analogue shooters frequently swap images made with expired or rare colour slide film stocks.
Why now: Analogue photography enthusiasts are actively sharing and celebrating images made with discontinued film stocks like Ektachrome 160.
