Trump Mobile says it has no team to handle ransomware breach
Original: Trump Mobile Allegedly Tells Ransomware Group 'We Have No Team to Handle This'
Trump Mobile has allegedly told a ransomware group it has 'no team to handle this' after a breach of its systems appeared on the dark web, according to the International Business Times. The reported response suggests the company lacked a dedicated cybersecurity function to deal with the extortion attempt. Commenters are treating the alleged reply as a striking admission about the company's security readiness.
Why now: The unusual admission that a company tied to the US president allegedly had no team to respond to a ransomware attack is drawing wide attention.
