Bedfordshire Police have filed court documents alleging that Andrew and Tristan Tate exploited women using the so-called 'lover boy' method, in which victims are deceived into believing they are in romantic relationships before being financially and sexually exploited. The filing relates to UK proceedings against the brothers, who have faced parallel investigations in Romania and were reportedly in Miami. The Tates deny the allegations.
Why now: New UK police court filings have revived public attention to the high-profile criminal case against the Tate brothers.
