Original: Revealing, anti-migrant campaigners, who abused their partners... # migration # HumanRights # asylum # DomesticViolence
A Guardian investigation reports that some British anti-migrant campaigners behind far-right street patrols have been accused by ex-partners of domestic abuse. The findings have prompted discussion about hypocrisy among groups presenting themselves as protectors of women and communities, and have drawn criticism from human rights and domestic violence advocates.
Why now: The Guardian's revelations directly contradict the anti-migrant movement's public image, fuelling debate about hypocrisy and domestic violence.
