EU ambassadors to the Holy See hold coordination meeting
Original: Heads of Missions Meeting to the Holy See
The European External Action Service is holding a Heads of Missions Meeting to the Holy See, bringing together the European Union's representatives accredited to the Vatican for coordination discussions. Such meetings are typically used to align EU diplomatic positions on relations with the Holy See and shared priorities like peace, humanitarian affairs and interreligious dialogue.
Why now: The Vatican's diplomatic role on peace and global issues keeps EU-Vatican coordination in the news.
