Baltimore's Spotlighters Theatre cancels shows over leaky roof
Original: Spotlighters Theatre cancels shows amid leaky roof
Spotlighters Theatre has cancelled performances while dealing with a leaking roof, according to WBAL News Radio. The long-running Baltimore community theatre has not detailed when shows will resume, and audiences with tickets to affected performances are awaiting word on refunds or rescheduling. The closure highlights the maintenance challenges facing older, small nonprofit theatre venues.
Why now: A beloved community theatre going dark over building problems draws local concern and sympathy.
