Seattle radio station KEXP played a vaporwave cover of Placebo's 1998 track Pure Morning during its Afternoon Show, created by artist Kira and released via Twelve Tone Systems. The track is also available on Spotify, and the station shared its playlist for listeners following along.
Why now: Listeners are following KEXP's playlist and the unusual vaporwave reworking of a classic alt-rock song.
