Readers pick their dream fictional animal companions
Original: # questionoftheday fictional animal companion that you'd most want as your pet/mount/companion irl? # fiction # books #
A recurring question-of-the-day prompt is asking people which fictional animal companion they would most want as a real-life pet, mount, or sidekick. Responses span books, television, film, comics, anime, video games, tabletop RPGs and science fiction and fantasy, with participants trading favourites and debating which creature would actually be practical to own.
Why now: It is an open, low-stakes fandom prompt inviting people to share favourites across many media, driving quick engagement.
