Turkey transferred Korkut anti-aircraft artillery systems to Ukraine at the start of this year, according to Middle East Eye, citing sources. The Korkut is a Turkish self-propelled air defence system designed to counter aircraft, helicopters and drones. If confirmed, the delivery would mark a notable step in Turkish military support for Kyiv, a country Ankara has balanced relations with alongside Russia since the full-scale invasion began.
Why now: Reports of Turkish weapons deliveries to Ukraine are significant given Ankara's delicate balancing act between Kyiv and Moscow.
