Artist Gretchen Deahl has launched a new interview series, 'Gorgeous Monsters and Their Pets', framed as the work of a fictional 'human spokesperson' for the Guardian Monster Guild. In the persona, she claims credentials as editor of the 'Monster Times & Review' and author of the tell-all book 'What Monsters Want'. The whimsical project is drawing attention among art audiences online.
Why now: The playful, imaginative premise of interviewing monsters through a mock-official persona is charming and creative, prompting people to share it.
