Allan Barte, a French commentator, argues that the polished image of public officials collapses when they face high school students involved in the lycée blockades who genuinely want change. His remark targets the gap between grand political speeches and the reality of confrontation with committed young citizens, and he calls for support for what he describes as a drawn, committed and independent struggle, soliciting donations via his Ko-fi page.
Why now: Ongoing high school blockade movements in France are reigniting debate about politicians' disconnect from citizens.
