Dutch government criticised for arming Israel amid Gaza war
Original: Israël blijft aanvallen, bezetten en vermoorden in Gaza en op de West Bank. Nederland blijft financieren en faciliteren.
Critics in the Netherlands accuse the government of continuing to finance and facilitate Israel's military campaign in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. Protesters point to millions of euros' worth of Israeli weapons purchases by the Dutch cabinet, and are calling for a 'red line' demonstration against the country's support for Israel's actions against Palestinians.
Why now: Ongoing anger in the Netherlands over government purchases of Israeli weapons during the Gaza war has sparked protest calls.
