Lithuanian lawmakers are advancing legislation to remove a constitutional prohibition on hosting nuclear weapons on the country's territory. The move has drawn warnings from Moscow, which says it would amount to a significant escalation. The development lands amid heightened NATO-Russia tensions over the war in Ukraine and the alliance's eastern flank defences.
