Steven D. Brewer, who has been blogging since 2002, is compiling an archive of more than two decades of his online writing. The project involves gathering and migrating old posts so they remain accessible as platforms and formats change. Observers note it highlights how personal websites can preserve writing that would otherwise be scattered or lost across aging services.
Why now: It resonates with ongoing concerns about digital preservation and keeping two decades of personal writing accessible.
