Belgian strike grounds flights at Brussels Airport on Friday
Original: Belgian strike prompts flight cancellations at Brussels Airport on Friday
A nationwide strike in Belgium has forced Brussels Airport to cancel flights scheduled for Friday. The walkout disrupts air travel at the country's main hub, with airlines scrapping departures and passengers advised to check with carriers before heading to the airport. The action is the latest in a series of labour stoppages in Belgium over pay and working conditions.
Why now: Travellers are being affected by widespread flight cancellations tied to the strike.
