A claim circulating online suggests that reading printed manga may offer the brain a storytelling advantage over digital formats. The idea taps into ongoing debate about whether physical books support comprehension, memory and narrative processing better than screens. Manga readers are weighing in, with some citing their own preference for print editions and others questioning whether the advantage is specific to manga or applies to print reading in general.
Why now: Debate over print versus digital reading keeps resurfacing, and manga's popularity makes the claim widely relatable.
