Space Facts Series Highlights Pluto and Charon's Twin Orbit

Original: Posting cool # space # facts until the Atlas Rush # Kickstarter : Pluto's moon Charon is so comparatively big, the pair

A poster is sharing daily space facts in the run-up to a Kickstarter campaign called Atlas Rush. The latest fact: Pluto's moon Charon is so large relative to Pluto — about half its size and over 10% of its mass — that the two orbit a point in space between them, effectively forming a double-dwarf system rather than a typical planet-moon pairing.

Why now: A recurring fact-sharing series tied to an upcoming Kickstarter is drawing attention with striking astronomy trivia.
