Spanish general strike held up as example for German unions
Original: Hallo DGB-Gewerkschafter, hier ein Gruß aus Spanien. So macht man das! https://www. nd-aktuell.de/artikel/1202960. wohnu
German-language discussion is pointing to a general strike in Spain over the housing crisis and inflation, urging the DGB trade union confederation to take note. An article in Neues Deutschland under the title 'Wohnungskrise in Spanien: Auf zum Generalstreik' is being shared with the message 'this is how it's done', framing the Spanish action as a model of class struggle and solidarity for German unions to emulate.
Why now: Spain's general strike over the housing crisis is being cited as an example German unions should follow.
