Ukraine's Sky Sentinel Drone Now Shooting Down Shaheds at Scale

Original: sky sentinel

Ukraine's Bars missile-drone, which reportedly struck Moscow earlier in the war, has been adapted into an interceptor against Russian Shahed attack drones. According to Defense Express, production has reached around 2,000 units per month, marking a significant scale-up of Ukraine's drone-on-drone air defense effort as Shahed attacks continue nightly.

Why now: Reports of mass production of a Ukrainian interceptor drone highlight a shift toward cheaper drone-based air defense against Russian strikes.
