Original: Trump's Iran War Costs "IRAN WAR ONGOING — Day 211 Low-intensity fighting continues. $43.6B Pentagon / $135B+ independen
A running tally circulating online claims the US-Iran conflict has entered its 211th day, with low-intensity fighting continuing and no end in sight. It cites Pentagon spending of $43.6 billion, independent estimates exceeding $135 billion, 19-23 US troops killed, more than 850 wounded, and over 9,000 total deaths, noting Congress never voted to authorize the war.
Why now: The claimed length and cost of the conflict, without congressional authorization, is drawing renewed criticism and attention.
